Organisation of F2
MotorSport Vision (MSV) will be responsible for the organisation of the FIA Formula Two Championship, including producing the race calendar.
The FIA will be responsible for producing the Sporting and Technical regulations, as well as providing the championship officials including scrutineers, stewards and a permanent race director in conjunction with MSV.
MSV will have no involvement in the jurisdiction of the F2 Championship.
Background of MotorSport Vision
MotorSport Vision is famous for buying Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park in 2004 and, in five short years, completely transforming their facilities and fortunes.
MSV runs the Formula Palmer Audi Championship which, over the last decade, has advanced the careers of hundreds of young hopefuls, nine of whom have progressed to Formula One. In 2008 MSV also acquired the rights to the British Superbike Championship, which has already seen the considerable benefits of MSV’s commercial, administrative and organisational expertise.
Bedford Autodrome, where the F2 operation will be based, also hosts the PalmerSport driving event, generally regarded as the best of its kind in the world.
