GP2 Tests

Formula Two will reward its second and third place finishers in the 2012 championship with GP2 tests.

GP2 boasts a proud record of past graduates who have gone on to compete in Formula One, including Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Timo Glock.

The path to GP2 has traditionally been incredibly expensive, and drivers have also struggled to prove themselves in uncompetitive teams which do not allow them the chance to compete at the front.

F2's creation of GP2 test prizes establishes a clear and comprehensive route for the world's best young talents to progress from Formula Two into the highest tiers of motor racing.

It also establishes F2 as one of the most cost-effective feeder series in the world, offering drivers a chance to progress not just into GP2 but also directly into Formula One for a remarkably low budget.
