Tribute to Henry from Giles Butterfield and Richard Gates
Tribute to Henry from Giles Butterfield and Richard
Gates:
"The whole of the F2 team will deeply miss Henry's involvement
in the championship. He had made an exceptionally positive
impression both on and off the track with his speed, maturity and
positive approach. His excellent performances recently at Brno and
Brands Hatch can only have been a brief insight into the future
success he surely would have attained.
"Our sense of loss though is incomparable to that of Henry's
family and we send our deepest sympathy and condolences to them at
this time.
"It's incredible that within the space of a week the dangers
faced by single seater racing drivers should have been so sharply
focussed, firstly as a result of Henry's tragic accident and then
that of Felipe Massa last weekend.
"As a result of these unlikely accidents a spectrum of safety
aspects are bound to be reviewed and the F2 team will be at the
forefront of promoting any changes that result. Our resolve to make
motor sport even safer for everyone involved will only be
strengthened."
