Soucek continues strong form in Jerez
Spaniard third fastest after topping timesheets at midway stage
Andy Soucek has continued to impress during his official test
with the Williams F1 team in Jerez, the Spaniard topping the
timesheets at midday and running inside the top three for the
majority of the day.
After 38 laps of running the Spaniard had posted a benchmark
time of 1:19.738 seconds around the 2.7 mile Jerez circuit. Though
Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and Gary Paffett in the McLaren were
able to better the time, Soucek remains third fastest.
He has spent the afternoon completing short runs as the Williams
team continue to make set up adjustments to the car, and still has
a run on fresh rubber remaining.
Testing will continue until 17.00 CET, with the official
Formula Two site bringing you a full session round up at the close
of the day.
