2011 FIA Prize Gala: Video Highlights
Watch a summary of the 2011 season as shown in the FIA's Gala Awards in India

Formula Two was honoured during the recent FIA Prize Gala in India, as 2011 Champion Mirko Bortolotti collected his prestigious award.

The FIA also created a video compilation as a tribute to F2's third season of competition, highlighting some of the most dramatic and significant moments from the year.

The Gala, held on an annual basis to commemorate sporting heroes from Formula One, Formula Two, World Rally and all other FIA championships, saw Formula One's youngest ever double World Champion Sebastian Vettel collect the Driver's Trophy, while Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner was presented with the Constructor's Trophy.

Alongside such notable guests, Bortolotti was rewarded for a superb campaign in Formula Two which saw him secure an impressive seven wins together with 14 podiums on his way to becoming the most successful driver to date in the new era of the series.

This year's 16 races, taking place over seven different countries, produced some outstanding racing as well as edge-of-the-seat action from Christopher Zanella's superb maiden win in Magny-Cours to Johannes Theobald's dramatic airborne crash at the Red Bull Ring.

Click here to watch the FIA video now on F2's official Youtube channel as well as a host of other great videos from the 2011 season.
