Jens Höing fast developed a reputation as one of Formula
Two's feistiest racers, his hard charging and uncompromising style
meaning he was always one to watch.
The Berlin racer's aggressive approach was evident even in the
early stages of the season, when he battled with Tom Gladdis in
Valencia. He then sliced through the field in Brno, improving a
total of ten places from 23rd on the grid to 13th at the chequered
flag - his best result of the season. Impressive drives at
Spa-Francorchamps and his home circuit of Oschersleben followed,
although he was unable to break into the top ten at either
venue.
Jens then had a rather frustrating end to his season, managing to
finish only two of the last ten races and earning himself the title
of most retirements of the year. However the likeable German kept
his spirits high, created plenty of excitement wherever he
qualified and was always brilliant with his sponsors and a pleasure
to have around!
