Markus Pommer steps up to the FIA Formula Two Championship in 2012 on his ascent through the motorsport ranks, which started in early 2000 with success in regional karting.
After honing his karting skills, the German moved to single
seater racing in 2007 with the Formula BMW ADAC series where he
finished 10th overall in his maiden season.
In 2008 he graduated to the ADAC Formel Masters championship
taking a win and five podiums on his way to fifth place in the
drivers' standings. The following year Markus stepped up to the
competitive ATS Formel 3 Cup finishing a superb third overall in
his first year with team Zetti Sportsline.
Markus has continued to impress in F3 for the past two seasons
being a regular podium finisher including scoring a hat-trick of
podiums last year.
