Kevin Mirocha joins the F2 field this year with plenty of experience and race wins to his name.
After success in karting he made his single seater debut in the 2007 Formula BMW ADAC series where he finished eighth overall and third in the Rookie Cup together with one podium. The following year he stepped up to the ATS Formula 3 Cup championship with Josef Kaufmann Racing, finishing sixth and again being a regular podium finisher.
In 2010 he contested selected rounds of the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, winning the final race of the season at the Nurburgring. He finished ninth in the championship, the third best-placed driver who did not contest all the rounds of the series.
Mirocha then moved up to the F1 feeder-series GP2 in 2011 with Ocean Racing Technology driving alongside Johnny Cecotto Jr. After a solid start he was forced to sit on the sidelines after injuring his left shoulder.
