The Brno Circuit is located close to the city of Brno at
Kohoutovice.
It was used before and after the Second World War for events such
as the Grand Prix of Masaryk, and once measured 19 miles in length.
It was formerly the site of the pre-war Czechoslovakian Grand
Prix.
The current circuit, built in the late 1980s, hosts
the MotoGP and World Superbike Championships, and has also held
rounds of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.
F2 will partner with the FIA World Touring Car
Championship at Brno in June 2009.
