FIA Formula Two Championship 2010

Elf/Renault
The first corner after the long main straight, Elf is a fantastic overtaking corner if you’re good on the brakes. The slow right-hander leads into a more open left and then a long sweeping right, so getting a poor run out of Renault will hurt a driver all the way down to Repsol.
Repsol
A tricky right-hander, the best approach to Repsol is to take an early apex but avoid getting tight to the inside, and gradually unwind the lock and let the car run to the outside as the corner opens out. Getting a good run out of Repsol presents a fantastic chance to dive inside as drivers look to move back over to the right to prepare for Seat.
Campsa
Campsa is a real challenge, with a fast uphill approach that means the apex can become lost as drivers enter the corner. They will need to be precise with their steering inputs in order to get a good drive through the corner, and the large run-off on the outside means they will be carrying as much speed as possible through the bend.
La Caixa
The long back straight means there are superb overtaking opportunities going into La Caixa. Drivers need to get hard on the brakes and settle the car before turning in, and it’s crucial to get the power on early and run wide on the exit to avoid losing time on the uphill approach to Banc.
Banc de Sabadell
Patience is the key to Banc de Sabadell, and the balance of the car is critical if the drivers are not to lose time. Drivers will be near the middle of the circuit after the left-hand approach, and it is important to avoid hitting the apex too early to save from running wide and losing time going into Europcar.
New Holland
The final sweeping right-hander on the lap, it is critical to get a good line and use a lot of kerb through New Holland to avoid running wide and onto the dirt on the exit, losing time all the way down the main straight.

Circuit Information

The Circuit de Catalunya is based in Montmeló, to the north of Barcelona, Catalonia. It is home to the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix and the motorcycle Catalonia Grand Prix. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Catalunya is a popular drivers' circuit and one of the sport's most important testing grounds.

Barcelona hosted the final round of the 2009 FIA Formula Two Championship in November, which took place alongside the International GT Open series.
