RACE ENGINEERS AND RACE MECHANICS
In preparation for the 2010 FIA Formula Two Championship, we are
now recruiting to expand the F2 operation and reinforce its
reputation for providing top level motorsport at remarkable value.
The outstanding combination of a Williams F1 designed car, MSV
operational expertise and FIA regulation has created great demand
for every place on the grid.
New opportunities exist for race engineers and race mechanics in
the Formula Two race team for our 2010 season.
Race Engineers
Successful applicants will have a proven track
record engineering single-seater racing cars in a top level formula
- GP2, A1GP, Formula Renault 3.5, F3 or similar - together with a
strong engineering background and ideally an engineering degree or
other formal qualification.
Extensive experience of car set-up and race engineering is
essential as is an ability to communicate clearly and effectively
with drivers and team personnel. You should have experience
managing a small team of people and you must be expert in the use
of Pi Toolbox data analysis software. You will be working with the
team for all the race weekends throughout the season and the
official tests.
Race Mechanics
Highly
competent, experienced race mechanics are required for car rebuild
and the up-coming race season. Mechanics will be responsible for
running their F2 car at all race events and tests and will also
undertake preparation of their F2 car at the Bedford Autodrome
base.
Proven experience as a senior mechanic in top-level
single-seater series - F3 or above - is required. Fastidious
attention to detail is imperative, car preparation, maintenance and
set-up to the highest and most exacting standards must be
second-nature. Relevant qualifications, academic or practical, in
automotive or engineering areas would assist your
application.
