Luciano returns to the FIA Formula Two Championship in 2012
following a very impressive part season last year which saw him
score points in all of the four races he contested.
The British racer began karting at the age of 13 before his natural
skill and flair behind the wheel saw him rise through the
motorsport ranks.
After graduating from karts, Luciano moved to the Ginetta Junior
Championship enjoying instant success before competing in the
T-Cars Championship with the PalmerSport Junior Team where he took
the championship in convincing style including six wins, three pole
positions and 11 podiums.
Since 2006, the McLaren Autosport Award finalist has
successfully competed in Formula Palmer Audi, Formula Renault 2.0,
WEC & Eurocup including being runner-up in the 2010 FRenault
Eurocup series.
In 2011, Luciano undertook a part season in the highly
competitive GP3 Series with the RSC Mücke Motorsport team,
securing a points finish together with a further top 10 result.
Towards the end of the year he switched to Formula Two for the
two events at the Red Bull Ring and Monza where, despite his lack
of time in the car, he quickly impressed finishing seventh and
tenth in his first ever races. He followed that up in Italy with a
further two points finishes including a best of fifth to end 13th
overall in the final standings from just two rounds.
