18-year-old Mikkel Mac is one of the youngest drivers in the 2011 Formula Two field. The Dane graduates to F2 following impressive showings in winter testing last December - he finished 7th overall in Portimão - and pre-season testing at Silverstone and Snetterton, where he regularly ran amongst the top ten fastest drivers.

Mikkel moved from karting into single seaters in 2009 where he raced in the Danish Formula Ford championship, taking two victories and six podiums from eight races. He combined his Formula Ford outings with selected appearances in the Formula BMW Europe series, scoring a points finish at Zandvoort.

Mikkel's next target was the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup championship in 2010 with the KTR team. He enjoyed an outstanding season, scoring three wins and two pole positions on his way to second overall.
