The 2010 FIA Formula Two Championship will conclude at
Spain's Circuit de Valencia in September, partnering the World
Touring Cars.
The multi-award winning circuit, also known as the Comunitat
Valenciana Ricardo Tormo Circuit, was opened in September 1999 and
hosts rounds of the MotoGP and World Superbike championships in
addition to the FIA WTCC. Many Formula One teams also use the
circuit for pre-season testing over the winter months due to its
mild temperatures.
The venue was designed to feel like a stadium, with views of the
entire racetrack from any vantage point.
The circuit is named after Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer
Ricardo Tormo.
