The Brno Circuit is located close to the city of Brno at
Kohoutovice, and is the premier motor racing circuit in the Czech
Republic.
The venue was originally used both before and after the Second
World War for motorsport events such as the Grand Prix of
Masaryk, and once measured 19 miles in length. It was also formerly
the site of the pre-war Czechoslovakian Grand Prix.
The current circuit, built in the late 1980s, hosts the MotoGP
and World Superbike Championships, and has also held rounds of the
A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.
F2 has already visited Brno in 2009, and the track delivered
some of the most dramatic on track action, with both Mirko
Bortolotti and Andy Soucek claiming their first wins of the season
at the circuit.
Formula Two arrives at Brno, Czech Republic, for rounds 13 and
14 of the 2010 championship. Tickets start from €10 per
person, with free entry for children aged 13 and under and senior
citizens over 67. To purchase tickets click here.
